Who we are
This website belongs to Bizzyberry Nursery Ltd, registered in Scotland (SC517608), of 1 Biggar Business Park, Market Road, Biggar, ML12 6FX — the data controller for anything you send us through it.
The site is built and hosted by Lunar Stack Ltd, registered in Scotland (SC677251), acting as our data processor. It runs on Lunar Stack’s own servers in the United Kingdom.
What this website collects
If you just browse: effectively nothing. This site sets no cookies, uses no analytics or advertising trackers, and loads nothing from third-party services — every file it serves, including fonts, comes from our own server. Like almost every web server, ours keeps short-lived technical logs (IP address, pages requested) for security and to keep the site working; these are routine, automatic, and not used to identify or profile anyone.
If you use the enquiry form, we receive what you type: your name, email address, and message, plus — only if you choose to give them — your phone number, your child’s first name and age, and the room you’re interested in. The child details are optional on purpose: you can ask us anything without telling us about your child at all.
What happens to an enquiry
Your enquiry is sent straight to the nursery by email and is not stored on the web server — no database, no copies. Form contents are never written to server logs. From there it lives in the nursery’s email like any other message to us, is used only to reply to you, and is deleted when no longer needed. We do not share it with anyone, and we never use it for marketing.
Our lawful basis for handling it is taking steps you’ve asked us to take before entering into an arrangement (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(b)), and our legitimate interest in answering the people who write to us.
Children’s information
We ask for the minimum, make it optional, and treat anything about a child with particular care. Photographs of children appear on this site only with written parental consent, and never alongside a child’s name.
Your rights
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask for a copy, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it — email bizzyberrynursery@gmail.com or call 01899 221649 and we’ll sort it, normally within a month.
If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
